The Sendero arrived yesterday NIB and when I got home tonight there was a NIB Model 70 featherweight sitting on the kitchen table.

(God bless my wife

)
I went to town again,disassembling,cleaning and installing mounts/rings/scope.
I would have preferred a regular ole 270 win but I couldn't pass up this one for the money we agreed upon(came with NIB Leupold mounts /rings aswell)
I had an older M-8 fixed 8x40 AO that has never been mounted waiting around here for probably better than two years and put her on.
Both rifles are now super clean, bore sighted and ready for their first round(s)
I have a deluxe 3 die set of Reddings on the way in .270Win but now I would like to trade them for a deluxe set of Reddings in this new rifle's ?????chambering???????
Sorry about all the gloating! I dont do it THAT often.

OH YEA!
Likely not much advantage with the 264 over the good ole 270, all things being equal(barrel length,bullet weight etc.)
It's just that I am familiar with the 264.I've had a couple,still have another besides the Sendero (M-70).
I have many boxes of factory rounds for the 264,several hundred pieces of virgin brass,many pieces of 1x,2x,3x etc.fired brass and its just a little different.
This one has a 26" heavy barrel(something I've not had in a 264)
Kinda like the 220 Swift lovers that are out there.
