While out scouting some new areas around the Chasm (near 70 Mile House) yesterday, I came across a sheep with a kid....
Made my day to see these!
I confess I never knew there were sheep in there - but I made some enquiries since, and found out that the Govt transplanted 8 sheep in there about 15 years ago... apparently they like it!
No draw for that area though - I checked that too.
I was just out of the canyon, and decided to look out over the edge, and these two just popped around the corner below me as I looked. Sorry they are a bit small, but I only had the little pocket camera along.
Also included some pics of an old homestead on the floor of the canyon. Gorgeous spot, with old alfalfa fields gone wild, and a stream running down the middle.
