Shell Holders

Can someone give me an outline of what shellholders are required-does each case have to have its own shellholder-or would some cases share a common shellholder?[ie 8x57 ,30/06,and 9.3]How are they denoted ?

Here's a chart showing the shell holder size of a number of manufacturers for certain cartridges. For the most part, the size of shell holder is based on the diameter of the case head. In you example, the RCBS #3 would fit all of those.

thanks-I suspected as much.All this is new to me-I am just assembling the equipment and components,powder,primers, brass, dies ,bullets etc.to load for my 9.3x57 Husky

Pick up the Lee shell holder kit's. One's for reloading press's, the other is for the priming tool.
The best investment I've ever made! Just about every shell holder you'll ever need!
