Shell prices going up !

Hi Lads

Just a heads up if anyone was going to make the drive to BPS in Vaughn. I went on Wed night of this week to pick up some flats of the Remington game loads and to my surprise, the price went up, BIG TIME. I would have been alright with a couple dollars but $15 a flat (I think that's the amount). My face must have looked just like this little guy . If anyone happens to come across any good deals, please post.

I would have to look at my receipt, but I beleive it was $63.99 a flat.

Paid $55 ea for 6 flats of Remington Gun Club I just bought.

Was it just the Cheap Promo cases? The $42 cases?

Or did all the shells go up? Are Winchester. AA's still $7.29 a box??

EDIT: Winchester AA's are STILL $7.29 a box. Only the Remington Gameloads went from $46 to $64!!!! Even the guy @ Bass Pro said it was Stupid!!

Why buy the 'Wal-mart' Shell (Rem.) when the 'Gap' (Win.) is only a couple buck more.

Or about the same prices as in 1992! I found some memobilia from 1992 including the WOrld FITASC and Sporting at Okemo. Except for gas, hotl and wine, just about everything to do with shooting has not gone up, since. It has not kept with inflation.

I just stocked up on 1000 rounds of Federal for $51 a case. Hopefully it'll last me a couple of months.

When I first started skeet shooting, which was only a couple years ago, I was getting flats for $40. Pretty bad when you need to car pool and share ammo to go to the club for the day because of increasing prices! lol
