Nice animal but please tell her not to "hug" wolves.

Hydatid Disease is a very real concern and is often missed by medical doctors as symptoms can take anywhere from a year or more - sometimes 10-20 years later - to manifest.

Thanks for this I've never heard of it before handled many wolves and will handle many more but probably won't eat a sandwich while doing it.
 
Very cool!!!! I would be lying if I said I wasn't a little jealous of both the deer and the wolf. The deer population in SK is sure down from past years. I have hunted pretty hard the last 3 days and I have only seen one buck for sure possibly a second one in the dark out of 23 deer. We have wolves here like crazy but I haven't had a chance at one yet this year, possibly try later in the winter while hunting coyotes.

Hard to "hunt" wolves.

Just be ready when you're out and about, and don't hesitate when you see one. All but one of the the wolves I've shot have been while hunting big game and I wouldn't have been able to get them if I wasn't ready at the time. (if your rifle is in a case behind the seat, you won't get to use it)
 
Another good job... this is a season she will remember... now that's what I would call a "trophy wife!"
