Shim SKS Stock

The most shimming I done is with cardboard and never noticed a change.

I noticed my Ugly, Most beat up/battleworn SKS from the pre mag limit ban times that rocks in the stock its so lose.... Shoots the best.
 
My 1956 excellent+ new condition SKS rattled in its stock, and had about 6 MOA accuracy at 100m.
After I shimmed the tang and the area in front of the mag it started shooting 3 MOA.
I haven't tried bedding anything else yet.
