I have a Lyman vibrating tumbler with crushed walnut shells in it and my Norinco cases aren't coming out very shiny, I know it is just an astetic thing but it looks nice when they shine nice. Just wondering what you guys are using? I know the stainless ones do a very nice job, but is there a way to get them to come out better or is it just the way Norinco cases look?

Nufinish liquid or Mother's Mag Cleaner paste will both get a nice shine using corncob.

I've been doing that for years.

I have some bad ass metal polish I was adding ever batch for a while now it no longer needs it with the walnut. Its getting dusty but wow does it ever work well. Does in 2 hours what it used to in 8. I usally run big batches while I am at work. How ever if I do small batches works quicker. This stuff goes a long way and is awesome for everything . I use it to polish my guns too.

Make sure it does not contain ammonia, as ammonia can lead to brittle brass.

When people use Braso a ammonia based cleaner the pour it in, let it run for a bit and then let it sit for a few hours for the ammonia to evaporate.

frankford arsenal kit comes with corncob media that you add a small amount of brass polish to. thats what I ve been using and getting pretty good results. these cases are 10x fired.

I ordered a bag of .223 from Henry @ Budget Shooting and was blown away by how good the looked. I had to ask him what he uses and he advised that on top of the NuFinish liquid, he also used a small dab of autosol metal polish in a 50/50 blend of walnut and corn media. Drop in a few 1" patches with it and the results are pretty damn good.

Lordco didn't have any Nufinish so I bought some Mothers car polish. I read that it works good as well, I have a batch on right now and I replaced my walnut shells so we will see. To anyone that doesn't know, don't buy the walnut shell media from the gun stores.. they rip you off bad. I think it was like 15-20$ for like 5 pounds? I got 50 pounds from the pet store for 23$
