It wouldn't be a month unless I was buying some of Nine's old garbage.
So I'm buying his terribly abused and neglected 870MM.

In spirit of my first shiny gun, lets see what you guys have got! I'll get some pics up when I finally get my shiny shotgun. :dancingbanana:

Do these count? only shiny in certain spots....

Beretta Urika 391 Gold 20g, Browning Gold "Golden Clays" 12g.

You sarcastic bastard. My worst neglected firearm would be your best. :p

I just realized that easter holiday's are coming... So I'll have to ship on Tuesday.

PS: I spent all your money on "firewater", so you'll have to wait until my welfare cheque comes in.

You can have the one that's beat all to hell. It should be easy to discern which one it is from the pics.

:p

And As you can see from the pics, I'm trying to get them to mate before I ship yours off.

I have an old cooey 12 gauge that I am thinking of keeping in the truck. (unloaded etc etc.. of course)

It is quite rusted and I was going to sand it then blue it.

If I shine it up, how can I protect it from rust?

Well, n00b here with first post...

I'm looking to get a shot gun for bear defense (whites and browns). I have narrowed the search down to the MM or the Mossberg 500 Mariner. How would you evaluate the differences between these two guns--beyond the Mossberg being $200-300 cheaper?

How much quality do you want? Both guns will last longer than you will. If you want something that will last, get the Mossberg. If you want something that will have higher quality and last, get the 870.
