I shot that piece of garbage a couple of years ago at a Gunnutz spring shoot in Selkirk. If there are any scratches it's probably my fault cuz I couldn't see where I was shooting from all the blowing snow.

Well, she performs flawlessly! She doesn't have any problems with cheap ammo, and is smooth as hell.

I love these shotguns and if you're contemplating buying one, do it.
You won't regret it.

Well, n00b here with first post...

I'm looking to get a shot gun for bear defense (whites and browns). I have narrowed the search down to the MM or the Mossberg 500 Mariner. How would you evaluate the differences between these two guns--beyond the Mossberg being $200-300 cheaper?

if you want a MAN's gun get a mossberg 590, if you want a gun that wont snap your brittle, weak, girl wrists, get an 870..lol... just kidding guys... i couldnt resist...
