I believe that all the Noveske customers who's backorders arrived were contacted by late Monday or early Tuesday... so if you weren't contacted it's because your items have not been shipped by Noveske yet.
If you placed your order in the last month or two then you've got a while to go yet... Most of the items that did come in were ordered many months ago... Noveske is averaging 3 to 4 months wait times, with some items even longer. Wait times from most US manufacturers are constantly getting longer... they simply can't keep pace with US demand for product so they fall further and further behind.
It also didn't help that Noveske screwed up a couple of customer orders by sending us the rifles with some parts missing.
Any Product Code:SIG-CALX-220-45-BSS came in?
So if we had ordered a rifle say in November and haven't been contacted by now, then it didn't come with that shipment?
Noveske only shipped a fraction of what we have on backorder with them. If you have questions about a specific order then you should contact Scott by email... but it's quite possible that they still haven't shipped items that were ordered late last year. Some of their barrels and uppers are way behind... Noveske is blaming some of this on their suppliers but it's also partly because of their own sales volumes increasing beyond their production capability... this means longer delivery delays.
Some of the firearms manufacturers are so far behind right now that they have announced they will not accept anymore orders for delivery in 2012... new orders being placed with those manufacturers are now being quoted 2013 deliveries... and some manufacturers won't even quote delivery estimates anymore.
Noveske is not as far behind as many others out there but the situation will get
worse before it gets better.
So if we had ordered a rifle say in November and haven't been contacted by now, then it didn't come with that shipment?
Did you atually order a rifle in November? I just checked all of the Noveske backorders and I don't see any unfilled rifle orders that go back that far... the oldest order I see is January.
It was a RRA that I had ordered. I can pm you the invoice number if that would help.
RRA is wacked... they won't even quote delivery estimates anymore. Because RRA relies so heavily on outside contractors to manufacture various parts and components for their rifles they are being particularly effected by the backlog problems. All it takes is one component to be unavailable and entire rifles models become backordered waiting for those parts.
If you've been in contact with Scott then he has given you the best info he has on what the status of your order is. It's not Questar that is delaying things... believe me.
Rock River has been particularly difficult to represent the past year as they simply can't keep up with their order backlogs and when they were giving us delivery estimates they were constantly missing their estimate dates... makes the customer angry and makes us look foolish.
That seems to be what I've heard about RRA. I am a little discouraged about when/if it will ever get here. I still have confidence in questar. How much of a hassle does it create to cancel a pre-order and order something you have in stock. I've been entertaining that idea but if it creates I hassle I wouldn't want to do it.
If there had been any available they would have been added to the website on Monday and Tuesday... right now the website shows none in stock, but it will accept orders. Your best beet is to place an order for one that way you'll be in the line for when the next shipment arrives.
Email Scott and discuss this directly with him... he can answer you and also let you know what else might be available.
