shipping ammunition?

Hey guys I'm looking for some advice on how to get some ammo sent to another fellow cgn. I tried canpar and was told they were bought out and no longer deal with individual customers and DHL said I need a declaration something or other signed by the dealer I bought the ammo from originally for a 25 dollar charge plus shipping costs. Anyone else have this much trouble mailing ammo privately?

Yeah I've come to this conclusion as well. Unfortunately it was for a trade. The fella I was trading with has already mailed his end of the deal expecting my end to be mailed smoothly.

I just shipped some ammo in September. Canpar ships through The UPS Store. You can use the locator on the canpar website. I sent 3 boxes of ammo for 15-20 bucks.

It's illegal to ship ammo via Canada Post... Looks like CanPar will pick up from a UPS Store. That's probably your only bet.

NO, ship with Canpar, they also pickup at The UPS Store. Go to the Canpar link i provided, type in your postal code and it will tell you what drop off location to use.

ups and FedEx both told me no they won't ship ammo unless you have an account and it's going to be a regular thing. No one time drop off and ship situations. At this point I'm giving up and have come to the conclusion that I will never attempt to mail ammo again.

Actually, that is the first time you provided all of the info. The OP said Canpar no longer deals with individual customers, they do in the rest of Canada. Good luck.

it was figured out, so i thought. we both agreed to ship each of our own packages. we both said we would ship out monday. i held my end of the deal

we live about 4 hours apart on the island
