Shipping Antique Muzzle Loader To Usa

Bet it has been asked many times before, but here goes.
I have a fellow in NY State wanting to buy a Two Band Tower Musket from me.
Can this be mailed to him from Canada or do I have to get some US import forms?
Anyone done it before or suggest a sight that explains it in layman language

I have shipped a few builds I have done to the states, their laws are more sane then ours regarding what they consider antiques "and firearms in general"
I had zero problems, I fancy you would have no problems aswell.

Laymans terms--Put musket in box and ship it via insured Canada post with a tracking ##

I've shipped a few antique rifles to the USA by Canada Post. Just put it in a box and attach an envelope on the outside with some sort of documentation showing it was made before 1899 or that it is an antique by US standards. I've never had a problem.
