Hi, I'm trying to find out if a person can ship gunpowder through a courier in Canada that has the proper hazmat documentation. I have tried to search this topic through the different forums but couldn't find anything specific to my scenario. My scenario is, that I have found a gunpowder at a specific sporting good store in Ontario and I am trying to have it shipped legally to myself in B.C. I have tried to contact several couriers and provide them with the UN number and hazard class code but to no avail. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Awesome, Thanks. The sporting good store told me that their shipper has the hazmat documentation to ship to the store however, the store can't ship it from the store to a customer because they don't have the necessary documentation. Funny considering you are bringing in the gunpowder to sell but yet have no way to ship it out. I guess each customer has to personally go directly into the store to get. thanks again, greatly appreciated.

Canpar, yes , just remember they will not deliver to a PO box and I have a hellish time getting it delivered to my residence out of town, if you are not home to take the delivery it can be returned to place of origin. I get powder/ammo sent to a business, my wife's or other family members place of work with their name on it, always someone there to sign and hold the package for me.
