I need to get 10 round magazines shipped to me from US. Is it a good idea to take them apart and send mag. bodies and springs/ followers separate? That is what the seller suggested. I'm worried that if customs open the package they might assume I'm trying to smuggle in hi-cap mags? I don't think it's a good idea...

what do you guys think?

There is no reason to ship mags disassembled. Brownell's simply label them as pistol or rifle mags as the case may be.

Send it disassembled, and I bet release is delayed while the magazine is reassembled and tested.

Brokerage fees

My one experience with UPS.

Years ago I bought a Long Lee from Milarm and they sent it UPS.
When it got to the border some ratbag broker charged me fifty bucks to type two SHORT paragraphs on a single sheet of paper saying, "Yes it is an antique!" Further purchases were sent USPS.
