Shipping primers ?

msg.drew: You need to speak to your UPS rep, and get a commercial account. The drones at the store know very little.

I had the "UN" numbers and 1.4s class etc all the info and they still wouldn't do it for me me best bet is to get an account like you say prepare the shipments online and drop them at the store the less the know the better. I have been using DHL but on 5000 primers 30 dollar fee kinda kills the deal on most sales.

When I can actually get my hands on more then 10000 primers at a time it might be worth while getting a ups account... I dont know what it is about ontario distributors... stores seem to have primers yet I cant get any from the wholesale level... last order was only 7000 suposed to be alot more and that was for personal use I am having a hard time getting supplies right now...

God bless Obama the best gun salesman of the 20th century. :D

Hey msg.drew, how did your primers come to you? Or are you manufacturing them.......:p

Acutally I do make them... I go to the range and scoop all the brass then deprime it save the primers... then I got to the grocery store and buy all the eazy strike matches... and then go to work...:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

The company that ships my primers is an example of dont ask dont tell they are shipping them by a carrier that is not licensed and does not allow them... I took the box to that company that delivered them to my door and told them they shipped them to me why cant they ship them out they stated that the person that shipped them is breaking the law/rules.

Your supplier likely has a contract. Also, 1.4S does not require special licensing. If under 25Kg NXQ, it can ever go by passenger vehicle. Under 25kg nxq it is simply a matter of company policy. You have been speaking to too many counter drones. ;)

My supplier uses canpar... canpar wont ship primers... I would prefer to not discuss this futher on public forms.

When I order primers they have been dropped off by UPS. I am unsure of what they actually charge the shipper..... But I have been paying $35/1000 to my door ($29+Shipping)...... I do have to buy in 5000 increments. They have told me that less than that "is pointless to ship" as the same shipping cost is the same for 1000 or 5000 primers.

When I order Wolf Reloads (Ammunition from Wolff in ON) He ships Canpar..... Like $60 for 1K of .45 or $70 for 2K..... Volume saves I guess.

Cheers!
