Shipping times from canada ammo?

Our apologies to anyone who has recently not received confirmation emails, status notifications or shipping confirmations with tracking info recently. We just found out from our server host, in their words: "something went pear-shaped with with the email server and somehow your system generated emails have been blacklisted from the source, so many, if not all, your automated emails may not be going through. We do not know how or why this happened but we are working on it."

They are still working on it. As is our dev team on a separate solution all together.

In the meantime, if you are concerned you can plug your order number and postal code into the top right of the site and get an update there, or call us or email paul@canadaammo.com

Otherwise, one way or another, we'll have the issue fixed as soon as possible.

Thank you.

Being blacklisted is extremely unwelcome in your business and it is often hard to get and stay completely off the various black lists.

Hopefully your dev team, hosting provide or somebody comes up with something bombproof without delay.

Haha, I barely slept for almost three weeks during that time, between processing, invoicing, assigning, transferring and checking on transfers. Yeehaw! Can't wait to do that again when the T97s arrive.
SOOOO!!! Are the T97's in the container being shipped? Or have you got lot's of time yet to catch up on your sleep?:runaway:

Correct! And even more when we receive a giant shipment that we have to unload, fit into a warehouse, move things around, while shipping other orders out, maintaining staff levels, shipping out even more because the Norinco .223 arrived and orders doubled and tripled overnight, then it's a long weekend, then a staff member is on vacation and another falls ill with the flu and sometimes things get delayed.

We always do our best and always get orders out as fast as possible and we are working on new systems to speed things up all the time but unfortunately not everything always runs according to plan or perfectly.

As it stands, our current service levels are to process the order (which we are forced to do manually, every order) within two business days of order; usually this is done within one. We then generally ship within three business days from the point of the order being processed (unless it's a restricted).

Some things unfortunately delay that slightly and we did admittedly get a little behind around Easter, but things are beginning to normalize and everything should be caught up to minimum service levels today or tomorrow and even better than that over the next couple weeks.

Thank you.

I enjoy your ability to take my discretionary funds on a regular basis! Most times the price is worth the wait. That being said, you ship my next crate of 556 yet
? :dancingbanana:

Placed my order April 23rd. One package arrived today, two larger, heavier packages tracking to deliver tomorrow :D . I've always had amazing fast service and shipping from CanadaAmmo. Even on restricteds (including the 1911 combo deal), I've never really waited. Kudos to you, CanadaAmmo!

Honestly CanPar is the real problem. Canada Ammo sent my package to Ontario on a Monday, and CanPar deliverd it 12 days later. Even better? The guy handed me a 1911 while I was standing in front of my house, no identification or anything. I could have honestly have been anyone standing at the curb. I love their prices but I don't think I'll trust anything as important as a handgun to the mail anymore. :(

First time customer of Canada Ammo

Well, I too have put in an order last week for some 9mm and so far I have been billed but have not received so much as a verification email of the purchase (you know a "thank you it's being processed etc.)
BUT, I've seen the posts many of you have made so I'll relax a bit but I'm used to receiving an acknowledgement of the transaction and being appraised of the status of the order (ie Shipping detail, shipping ref. number).
Hmm, lets see how this buying experience goes

****Follow up report, perhaps I was too nervous my order arrived in a very timely manner and upon initial inspection all is well, very well!
Well Done Canada Ammo and thank you!

Good to hear!

Got the notice that the ammo shipped yesterday, it was also dropped off at my place yesterday. They are having problems with email shipping notices as I live in Ontario.

Its the only store I ever bought bulk ammo from. The thing is if the invaders are at your door and your waiting for your ammo you could be in trouble.

The lack of confirmation is strange, the both times i've ordered from them i had it within a day or two and the package arrived at the end of the week. If i recall there was something about them being out of the office for the next few weeks, that may have something to do with it.

Also bob, can you really blame the guy for being a little nervous? you know what with all the stories about online sales fraud you see everywhere. hell we don't get any shortages of those stories just on this forum. Theres always someone somewhere complaining about being ripped off. it only makes sense for a guy making a first time order to be a bit nervous when he doesn't get any sort of response after a few work days.
