We just received a shipment of Shockbottle 100 round case gauges. These are one of the BEST additions you can make to your tool collection to make case gauging your ammo a breeze. The gauge is the same size as the Dillon ammo boxes so you can just dump the ammo right out of the gauge into the box!

You can view details and order on our web site: http://fasttoys.net/ca/Shockbottle-100-Round-Case-Gauge-Bare/

These are excellent case gauges that really speed up the process. Use one to check all my 9mm reloads. Almost all the guys that I see having ammo problems at matches are the ones that don't case gauge check their reloads...including one guy with commercial reloads.

You don't need a case gauge but it's much faster than using a barrel. I also use one for 9mm, it makes checking large volumes a breeze.

Unless you spin every bullet in your barrel, you are taking a risk that a bulge may be on the feed ramp side of the barrel and could end up on the other side when chambered. I have seen it happen and ruin a match. The Shockbottle gauges make the normally painful process of case gauging very quick and easy. They are also made on the tight side of SAAMI specs so they work well for competition pistols that may jam on the larger side of SAAMI specs. Jams from ammo that was not case gauged is the # 1 cause of jams at matches.

I know they work well, I said as much, but that doesn't make them necessary.

Preaching to the choir, I already own one, lol.

We just got in a new shipment of case gauges. These are the BEST addition you can make to your loading practices. It saves a TON of time and ensure you will not have any ammunition related jams in your gun which can save your match :)

We have the following in stock:

9mm Black and Silver
40 S&W Black
40 S&W XL Black and Silver
45 ACP Black
38 Super Silver
38 Super Comp Silver

I run all my ammo through these, a must!!!!

The amount of time they save is unbelievable! Not to mention they are on the tighter side of SAAMI specs so specs so if you ammo gauges in these, they will run in 99.99% of guns. Other brands of gauges on the loose side of SAAMI specs may jam competition guns or other guns with tighter chambers.

I did have issues with jams as I made the mistake of assuming that all I needed to do was re-crimp the rejected rounds on my single stage at home. That doesn’t take care of the bottom as I learned, yea I didn’t re gauge the rounds. Rookie mistake.

So I got a Lee crimp die and resized the 1000 rounds. Now I use the Shockbottle to go through the brass first. I then resized the brass on the new Lee undersize die. Got 95% to fit. Tossed the remainder, most of which is Sumbro crap. Will probably be going through my cleaned brass to get rid off all that junk.
