The 126th annual BCRA Fullbore Championships has come and gone and our own "Shockman" cleaned house with his laser beam 6.5mm "Habu"(a tight neck/throat 260 rem) shooting 140 Berger VLD's.

He won the prestigious Lt. Governor's Prize and was "chaired" with his team mates carrying him, escorted by a piper, where his badge was pinned by Gen. (ret.) E. Fitch. He won Top scores in most matches and had the highest overall agg.

Congrats Marc!!

He also joined me, CyaN1de and Tom F shooting in the international team matches, against both Canadian and US teams, Including our friends on Team Savage, and the KTSA Bullz-Hitters extended their unbeaten streak to 3 years.

For the tech-curious, Marc's gun is a trued Remington 700 action, Henry Rempel fiberglass stock and aluminum bipod, Krieger 6.5 1:8" 17A contour, Nightforce 12-42X56BR. He uses Lapua Brass, H4831(non SC) and a Berger 140 VLD at 2850 fps.

Congratulations to Marc and all the other winners.

Would like to give a special thanks to Bob Pitcairn, Ian Hames and others who accommodated me with a bench to shoot from. A pinched nerve in my neck prevents me from shooting prone. I would have missed this great event if Ian,Tom Fripp and the boys from Kamloops had not supplied and transported the bench all weekend. I had a great time - thanks again for your considerations.

Regards

Aubrey

Had the pleasure of shooting with Marc about a month ago at the PGW championships. He's a great shooter and this comes as no surprise. Good for you Marc!

Awesome Marc!!!!! How'd everyone else do? Any results to post?
I'm sneaking away a couple of days to do Portland. Anyone else going? Congrats to all of the winners 'specially the "Loops" guys.
Cheers, Glen

I was lucky enough to have shot with the winner at Chilliwack.

Hi Neil!

It was fantastic to have you come over to the "dark" side, and to have made the trip all the way from California! I thoroughly enjoyed getting to meet you!
