Looking for a raptor stock for my 870 clone and I have a few questions
Will the bolt work in a norinco 870
And would this make my shotgun restricted as it has a 15.5 barrel.
Also if any one has one what are your thoughts on it and where did you get it.

##### Armoury imports them, with a 14" barrel the shotgun is 26.5" OAL so yours would be NR. Should fit without a problem on your 870

Good luck finding one. I haven't been able to get one in Canada. You might be better off making one out of a beaten-up wood stock. You could also try placing a WTB ad in the EE as there are some here.

They're pretty awesome if you can find them. Yours will still be NR when you put one on. Shockwave used to ship to Canada from the USA on Ebay - they have changed their minds for some reason. I'm not a Norinco/870 guy so I can't say how close the furniture fits for them but they make a 500/590 and 870 version.

As for the Raptor Grip (on my Moss 500), it's built like a tank, heavy polymer. It's at the right angle to not mess up your wrist and you can shoot comfortably from the hip (I'm sure the brake helps a lot in my case). If you can hit anything past 25yds from the hip, you are a wonder child. Fun toy when messing around for sure. Anyway, it's way better than the POS Moss pistol grip it had on it - that was punishment.

Here's their Ebay ad, but they don't ship here anymore...

Like another poster stated, ###### Armory imports them.

Great piece of kit. Like mine as well. Wish Hogue would make a version with their rubber material on it.

Hogue overmolded rubber is very good... have the Hogue forend on my 500 Roadblocker in Post #4. Also liked their AR15 grip... the Hogue pistol grip although being better than the terrible Mossberg one, still isn't the proper 'birdshead' geometry that frees up the wrist from wrenching recoil.

The short LOP Hogue 12" buttstock for my 500/590 was a huge failure as it felt too cramped. Got rid of it ASAP.

I have several of the Hogue PG sets and like them. Kind of why I'd like to see them do a birdshead.

Shipping from ##### is pretty expensive after conversion to Canadian dollars .... What are these worth on the EE?

I don't know. They're only $26 US on Ebay... how much would it be through #####?

It is the best PG for a shotgun on the market, glass filled polymer, built like a tank and utilizes the best geometry to reduce felt recoil and torque on the wrist.

I think it's just me being a cheapo lol .... I've made a lot of eBay purchases lately and all the USD shipping charges after exchange are leaving me batty lol. At #####, I think the shipping was I think $26 USD ..... Every time I purchase something and the shipping costs as much or sometimes more than the product I'm buying, it irritates me.

The actual raptor grip is reasonably priced.

Why someone hasn't copied the design and made it here is beyond me except for the likelihood of being an item with relatively low demand. If made, I would expect the price to be higher due to manufacturing costs being what they would be with lower production numbers.

Got mine from Shockwave. Too bad they don't ship to Canada anymore. Great product and makes shooting slugs & 00buck very manageable…..
