Has anyone ever heard of this brand? I recently ordered a "Raptor Birdshead grip" for my Remington 870 and Norc 780 on ebay and I gotta say, this is actually one of the best things I've seen for the price.

Surprisingly, the products are extremely well made. For $30 bucks I couldn't expect much in terms of the quality for pistol grip but when it finally arrived I was really impressed with the quality of these things. It's made of a glass-filled polymer construction (similar to the Zytel handles on Cold Steel knives) that fit both Mossberg 500 models and Reminton 870s (including some copies) and for the $30 price tag, plastic grips from Tacstar or Nc can't even compare. It looks and feels like something that could have came stock from the factory. I dropped it twice on to my garage floor (first by accident, then again on purpose) without any scuffs. I'm so impressed by it, I'm posting it here to show you guys who haven't heard of it.

Now aside from "you won't hit anything," this not for an accuracy competition but a more comfortable hip-fire grip set-up for any truck gun or novelty collections. The grip is 5.5" and leaves any 14" barrel 870/500 at 26.5" in total length.

Here it is my Norc 780. The grip is a perfect fit, just as it was on my Remington 870.

and on a Mossberg

If you're looking for a cool, great quality grip at an amazing price, check the links in the captions as it is sold on Ebay for Canadian customers.

Have fun guys!

I think they look good, but I have no desire to shoot one of my shotguns in that manner. Maybe once or twice, but then the novelty would be gone.

They work quite well with a strong "push-pull" grip and chicken winged rear arm... :)
Aimed accurate shots with slugs are not a problem if you are at least of average male strength or above.

I much prefer the speed feeds shorter grip length in actual use but the shockwave's give you over 26" easily which is good.
I ghetto taped some foam and hockey tape to my shockwave to "choke up" on the grip.

OP, are you sure it's a Norinco 870 you have? To me that looks more like a Homeland Security 780, in which case if you bought it thinking it was an 870 clone you should try to get your money back.

I got it on the EE, it is a Norc Homeland 780 but it's still a 870 design copy with a 14" barrel. I have an R870 tactical and a M590A1 but I wanted something a lot smaller without spending a lot of money on their replacement barrels, mag caps, etc. So, instead of spending more cash on accessories to downgrade my shotguns, I figured it was more economic and attainable just to get a cheap little 14" barrel shotgun (that amazingly fits this Shockwave grip for 870's btw) to throw around in the bush or in the back of the truck (things I would never do to my 870 or others lol). It had a couple factory issues like most of these chinese guns that come out of the box but I attacked it with a hammer and file against a cement block outside during some ghetto home gun-smithing and its running 100% now.

I don't want my money back. I love it. :)

Shooting a PGO shotty is a hoot at the range or on the farm... I can still hit a target at 30ft shooting from the hip. With any of my Mossy's I can swap on other stocks if I choose to. I will buy a Raptor just to try it.

Yeah, aside from the looks, I have no desire to shoot from the hip or one handed. Its just not entertaining to me.
