Sholder Holster

check whit your club first most dont let pepole used thoses also its very rarely used in the US for ccw except for pepole that drives around a lot most are trash.. good one include glaco http://www.usgalco.com/ but its working full time just to get his product out to the marine truck drivers

Uncle Mikes makes a decent ballistic nylon shoulder holster. Of course, you can't wear it anywhere but in the house.

As mentioned above, shoulder holsters are not popular, and there is good reason for it.

For CCW, unless you carry a small framed, short barreled, light weight gun, and are always wearing a jacket, and preferably weight over 200lbs, you will print - bigtime.

For range use, most ranges will only allow verticle drop holsters, which are awkward to use.

They are not allowed in PPC, nor I suspect IDPA. IPSC used to allow them, but the last freak who used one in Canada now wears high heels and makeup. I'm pretty sure s/he isn't the reason IPSC banned them, but you never know.

I bet you can pretty much wear a shoulder holster anywhere you want. Especially if you have it under a shirt or jacket.

It's what you put in the said shoulder holster that may be of concern & subject to applicable regulation, however... ;)

WHAT! You mean we're NOT allowed concealed carry? OOOOOPPPPPS!

... Galco "Miami Classic" , Ted Blocker, and Uncle Mike for the lowest cost version. 'Not practical for matches, slower than a belt holster, and safety concerns are the reasons most clubs ban their use. For "real world" use they're OK if you're driving or sitting around a lot, and if you HAVE to wear a short jacket. Counter balanced the gun weight on the off side with 'cuffs and spare ammunition and it adds up to a fair bit of weight on the shoulders ! ..... David K. PS if it's a short barreled gun, the old fashioned "Berns Martin" style , or an original works, well .

All Miami classic and such are cool and excellent holsters. However most are not allowed on ranges because the muzzle will point back.and just incase your considering using them for (legal) concealed carry unless they are carrying a short bbl pistol they will print on you cloths and most are designed for specific pistols.I personally prefer the Bianci X15 rigs they point down and fit a wide variaty of hand guns from revolvers to pistols.and concealed cary wise dont print as much.
