I just got back from the AFS Annual Shootout at the Noway Corral in Rocky Mountain House. They did another excellent job and I am looking forward to next year when they host the SASS Canadian Regional. They had over 130 shooters from all over the country and a couple from Montana. Lots of fun.
 
It was an outstanding match! My wife shot the Nationals for the first time and it was my first time since Ft Kusk shut down. The exec did a number one job, but probably should have advertised here prior to the match!!

hey left i hope you had a safe return home with out any trouble. garand i sent you a email...to all it was a great shoot. as always there was fun to be had by all and i'm looking forward to next year.

Seeing all the smiles, hearing the laughter and listening to shooters recount all thier trials & tribulations of the match make it worthwhile.

Congrats to Cariboo Lefty who was our unanounced (Muskeg was mortified beyond words the next morning when I reminded him of that bit of unfinnished buisiness) overall Canadian Champ. We blamed it on Ridge Ranger and his free flowing wine table. Sorry Lefty!!!

Tell Muskeg not to worry about, believe me, I know how stuff falls through the cracks. Overall only matters to a few of us, and the bragging rites only last for a week or so. I was impressed at how smoothly everything ran and how few things did slip through the cracks. Tell Santa Maria that I still think she did a hell of a job.
