Yes, that's North Van -- but as an exercise, I'll let you find the matching Vancouver by-law.

How absolutely fruity, the idea that you should shoot pellet guns at a gun range!

I get strange looks when I bring my BB guns to the range..The only airgun I own that can hit a target at 25 meters is my Weirauch HW80..The other airguns just arc down to the ground before the target..I think these low powered guns are best in the basement or the backyard..If your worried the neighbors will call the cops, just plug in a vauccum or any other thing to drown out the little pops.Who can tell the diff between airsoft and BB guns anyways..Just tell people your trying out for an airsoft team.

I used to shoot them everyday when I was a kid in Vancouver. Times have changed...It's illegal and you are asking to get Tazzed bro.

Even up in Squamish I shoot my Tempest in the basement with one of those backstops from Canuck tire. Works great, good fun and pisses the Fiance off when she is watching tv. All wins!

I think most of larger cities prohibit the use of bb guns in the back yard as it costs them a money to have fearful citizens call it in as real guns...i have not set up in the basement, but i might to pass the time in the winter months. a nice bb catch and a good quality sub 500 fps gun will do the trick. my municipality prohibits any bb guns on property, but they bylaw is ONLY enforced if there is a complainant, so as long as you are smart and good with your neighbours, city wont come to bother you. i think the citizens in my city are a bit horrified by the rash of shootings and brazen robberies that occured in our and neighboring city, hence the constant calls against anything that resembles a gun or a rifle.

not if its a over 500 fps gun, cant shoot that in my city limits or anything within about 100 km from my house, range sounds good at that time

I was silly enough to take my airguns to the range and was nestled between two people shooting magnum rifles..To say i was out gunned is to put it mildly..I was trying to reach 25 meters while the person to the right of me was hitting the 200 meter gong..We just don't fit in to such a shooting experiences..maybe we should just save our "BB gun Moments,:50cal:" to when we are camping or out in the woods.
