I love pussy so much I have turned into one.
If you're like me the closest range doesn;t qualify as close, and the urge to bring my toy camping/ ATVing is/was almost unbearable. today I have made the decision NOT to break the law after intensly researching the consequences - for which I have found NONE - 15-20 precedents with a slap on the wrist would probably have put me on the other side of the fence. The laws in the country are utterly ridiculous.
The unjust law I was contemplating to ignore is was a "restricted at and unauthorized place" - likely combined with a CCW, cause who the hell wants to get caught plinking with their pistol into the deep woods where I often go quadding.
I'd rather not play the odds for a favorable judge with a young family and good career. Its just not worth it even though the law is absolutely stupid. Not to mention the embarassment of getting busted.
Instead I am going buy some 27" mudbugs for my quad and an air pistol for shooting 'pop' cans on the trail. This is justified in the messed up workings in my mind
I know an air pistol is almost in the brokeback mountain category but it will curb the urge to bring out my other toys.
Any of you do this when out on your quads 150Km from civilization? Any of you shoot Airguns to fill the time between range visits?
