First off, Jim I would like to thank you for the generosity of lending me your firearm, as I though it probably shots better then I do.

Sorry for the early departure but getting baked in the sun is not my idea of having fun. I made a mental note to bring a beach umbrella should I join you again.

A thank you to Ganderite for organizing a great shooting day.
In my team Yomomma shot the tightest groups with a M14,
Sean got lucky and hit the Queen of Hearts with a SKS, I cooled
of swimming in Lake Ontario with my wife, good times for all.

I like the way that M14 is throwing them to 2 o'clock. There should be more of these types of matches. The best way to shoot your surplus rifle, battle rifle.

Thanks for the offfer Yomomma, I've dropped around $800 into my shooting hobby this year and
I'm trying to restrain myself from further large purchasers. Truth be told I have this gun stuck in
my head and just cant seem to shake it so you could well be hearing from me. Judging by our
conversation you know a lot more about Gunsmithing than I"ll probably ever know.

Seafury, Ja, running one of these courses is a intense experience and I'm glad to have had the
opportuninty to participate.

The August Vintage Shoot is over. We had a good time playing with whatever toys we wanted to play with.

We hope to have another shoot in September. Drop me a PM with your name and email address if you want details.

Here is my 200 yard target, shot with a #4 DCRA rifle made into a carbine. It shot well but the operator forgot to aim a bit higher....
