On my property, I can shoot whatever size my wife lets me.

We did that the year after steel shot became law. Had a few weeks at the club where all of the BB, AAA, no 2 etc lead and some buck shot were shot off so we could reuse the hulls for reloading steel.
Now we all wish we had of kept the heavy lead stuff for coyotes.

Don't know about his grouse man but the 2 1/4 oz loads of no. 4 out of the 10ga were just ink spots
