Shooting .22 all the time in my AR

my club (target sports centre) will only sell frangible to be used at that time at the range.
im really not sure why theres an issue with it? the .308 stuff wouldnt cycle an m-14 either. doesnt seem like much to rave about.

i also dont think they would care if it says not for civilian use on the box - afterall, they sell AR's stamped for LE/MIL use only...

I'm at the same club. The last time I shot their .223 frangible my AR failed to cycle as well. Became a single shot "bolt" action. However, I was trying some new mags so wondering if they're the cause of the problem.
If its not mag related.... I've got other issues to troubleshoot.
