Shooting .22 CB long

And possibly a build up of lead/gunk that could make chambering .22lr a problem.

And you'd have to single load, I doubt they would feed from the mag.

.22 CB Longs on the other hand (typically by CCI) are fine.

I doubt you'll get any erosion, but you *may* get some contamination in the chamber - wax, lead, etc. But even that, I doubt.

The CB, IIRC, has no powder just a primer and bullet

Can I used it in Savage Mk II bolt action. It says on the barrel use only .22 LR

Yes you can shoot .22 Long in a .22 LR chamber. The case length is the same for both rounds (.613") The difference between the two rounds is bullet weight.

I shoot em outta my 10/22 w/the 25rnd butler creek mag. I dont think it chambers with the factory mag very well. Anyways, you just kinda tilt the gun to the side then work the action and it usually ejects fine and loads another.

Much quieter if you require ;) .

You can use CB longs, like above said brass is the same lenght. Totally useless round though, why would you want to use that garbage? Savage Mk II is such great rifle, why not feeding it with rounds that size up to it? In quality I mean.

Ummmm.......because it does what it is designed to do very well?

29 gr bullet around 800 FPS = TWICE the ft/lbs energy of most air rifles, at half the noise....perfect for pesting/indoor shooting/training new shooters.

A better question would be "Why would anyone buy a mega dollar high powered air rifle when a Savage Mk II shooting CB's is quieter and more powerfull?"

I used them with quite a success in the TOZ, but I forgot to try them in the Savage.
No noise, acceptable accuracy... and they fed flawless from the mag.
