Righto, it never really had my Concern until now

i watched a Youtuber grip a big line up of Big Bore Ruger 1s, an all the time he held his hand over the LEver, as in to hold it closed------

Generally i grip with pistol grip and use index finger, on the trigger.......... but being a Falling block action, an only a fairly small "locking" clip for said Lever, is it Normal to hold hand over lever??

heres video for reference.

keen to hear how you hold yours.

There is no need to hold the lever down... if there was, it would be considered a "serious" design flaw.

I have owned and shot No.1's in;

.375 H&H
.405 Win
.416 Rigby
.45/120
.458 WM

None of which required holding down the lever.

Sweet as! good news then FEllas, Hoyt ya spot on, it would be well known, or made known as soon as anyone mentioned thoughts of a Ruger 1 !

good fellas.
