Shooting At The Ragland Pits ( north Oshawa)

Me and my buddy want to do some target practice this week. We have always gone offroading at the pits in raglan...it's a giant open sandy area with trees everywhere.

Has anyone on the forums ever shot their guns here? People go there all the time to offroad and stuff...i've heard of some people doing target practice too. the place is always packed on the weekends. Since it's private land I can't see it being an issue aslong as you have a good backstop.

It's now owned by a big cement company...yet they havent even started doing anything with the land yet.

I used to go wheelin' at Raglan all the time.
As for shooting there, I would say no. Its private property and most if not all people who go there don't get the land owners permission. It can also get busy with people rippin around. If there was ever a mishap there, you would have bigtime legal issues.
