Shooting Glasses Update Request

You may want to look up Post 4 optics. I got a pair (4 months ago)with 3 sets of RX lens for a very good price . Had decots about 20 years ago and they were good also but I have to say I think I like the Post 4 's better. He is a shooter and has shot at alot of clubs in BC and will give you some good advice as far as colors go.

I bought my Ranger XL's from Morgan Optical in Olean NY. When you call Randolph looking for dealers, they send you right to this guy. He sells more Randolph glasses than anyone. His biggest competitor is Cabela's, and he did three times their business. All he does is shooting glasses. Call them and speak to Wayne. I did and was absolutely impressed with the quality of service. I got mine to Ontario in 10 days and paid no duty or tax as they are prescription glasses. All I paid was 35 bucks shipping I think. I got the medium target yellow and the Colormag lenses in prescription. He even asks you what hand you shoot, what sport you shoot and tailors the lens' focal point to the spot in the lens you're eyes will be when shooting. First class service, I can't recommend Wayne and Morgan enough.

Id definitely recommend Randolph rangers, I've had bad experiences with decot frames.

I don't need prescription fortunately. I have yellow, vermillion, clear (don't use the clear for clay targets), ranger bronze (my favorite of all the lenses) purple what ever they're called.

The ranger bronze is on my frames 98% of the time unless it's too dark or gray out.

I'd recommend buying the from Lloyd Irvine, Irv's shooting supplies he has a good guy grinding the lenses

I've been shooting Rangers for a lot of years. I have not had any problems. I have 'worn out' a set of lenses as a result of debris bouncing off of them over the years (it's not if you will get hit, it is when you will get hit).

Brad.
