Guys where can I find a fingerless shooting glove for shooting with a sling? I was slung up with a 1907 today for the first time and my hand is a little sore but man what a difference in shooting technique!

You may have to try several types of gloves/mitts you find out what you like best. I have tried full finger, but found them too hot. Tried fingerless, but found they bite into the web between my fingers. Full leather fingerless mitts work but start to rot out after a couple years due to sweat. At present I use a Cordura fingerless mitt that provides enough padding. I think it could be a Creedmoor or Champions Choice.

If you are just worried abuout the trigger finger. a lot of tactical gloves like hatch and others come full fingered but have a extra bit of stitching on the trigger finger so you can cut it and it won't fray

Ceriksson, you have the right idea as you describe but when you are really slung in tight pulling rails out of stocks happens often. The real target version of this is a one point sling with a handstop and in a 308 if you don't have enough shoulder pressure, and therefore the sling hand is taking more than its share of recoil, then it's gonna hurt later and maybe a lot.

Here is a pic of me from Saturday. I used a mecanics glove that worked sorta ok but the back of the hand near the sling swivel took a beating. Was having too much fun to care though
