Say there hand gun shooters, I am toying with the idea of importing a fairly new product in to canada, from a company called GripSwell. Black leather gloves with a built in palm swell, comes in right or left, and all the sizes, like retail in the $40.00 range or a little less for CGN users. I have used the model designed for shotgun shooting and they help make gunmount very smooth compared to your bare hand. www.GripSwell.com is the web site for those of you that may be interested, Thanks FS

My first impression was, " I'm not going to the range wearing golf gloves. "
Ever had a gun slip in your hand due to perspiration and/or recoil? Golf and batting gloves are excellent to keep a good grip on your grip.

I bought a set of PAST shooting gloves a while ago thinking they would make a difference in fatigue etc.. They have sat in the shooting bag for about 5 yrs now. Personally I just dont need them but there are others who may find them helpful.
Good luck

Yup. when shooting my hands sweat a fair bit, it's friggin annoying but out of my control.

Used the only gloves I had in the vehicle, my Hatch Defender 2's.

I gotta say, it's not their purpose, but the weighted glove I find is great for shooting.

Found those extra 8oz. of steel shot in each hand kept the muzzle down a little bit more then barehanding it.

Absolutely no problems operating any firearms controls with them on.

There are plenty of mechanics gloves and tool working gloves with these shock absorber pads and gel bits. They are meant for long days of drilling, power hammering and etc.

Until someone tries and let's us know, I personally think it might be a useless feature for shooting. If anything, it might add bulk and keep us from holding the gun firmly in the proper position. I'd love to hear feedback to tell me otherwise....

For extra grip, I think thin grippy gloves are fine if you happen to sweat.
