Shooting gloves

I shoot a lot a pistol and I have really sweaty hands. I use grip gel and that helps for a bit but not very long. I'm looking for shooting gloves but not the big tatical one with plastic knuckles. Any suggestions. Are there any specially made for pistol shooting.

I've actually used my mechanic's gloves quite a few times. I nice brand "Mechanix Wear" that's got some leather in the right spots and ventilation otherwise. Can pick this up at CrappyTire etc.

I'm using a pair of Damascus "interceptor x" gloves that I picked up off ebay. For about $20, they are nice and light and provide enough dexterity to load a magazine. My second choice would be a pair of Mechanix Wear gloves, but they offer less dexterity than these.

I prefer the nomex flight gloves. They are very form fitting and provide great dexterity. Also the leather doesn't get hard or crack after being wet and dried a hundred times. Golf or curling gloves won't last very long because of the moisture.

Which nomex?

After searching a bit, all I found were cycling-weight lifting gloves. even then most have a lot of padding on the palms.

They need to be very thin or else its like ''F%%%ing with a rubber'' sorry, its the best analogy I could come up with.

I second getting the Interceptor X's. They're a great pair of gloves with a good balance between protection and dexterity.

Blackhawk sells a pair of rapelling gloves that work like a charm ......fingertipless and have a small amount of padding on the palm

try some cheap nitrile coated gloves, very durable but make sure they fit for optimum dexterity. Ten pairs for under 40 bucks.

I'm a big fan of mechanics gloves from Crappy Tire. Cheap, durable with good dexterity.

Have you tried powdered rosin? The kind that's used for softball/baseball.

Hatch sells thin neoprene shooting gloves. Really nice in the rain.

Why don`t you just get the cheap white fabric ones?

Or under armour football gloves which you might find at national sports, these are great.
