any of you guys ever try shooting high V buckshot with a pistol grip only? I have a Knoxx breaching grip on my 12ga shorty and want to know what im getting into, I have fired low V rounds through it and it hardly kicks, I picked up a box of winchester high V 00buck and only noticed it was high V when I got it home.

high V loads are seriously dangerous with a pistol grip. Every single person who has ever tried has broken at least 17 wrist bones. You can also develop lifelong tennis elbow from firing just one round of high V. I strongly suggest that you never ever shoot any firearm with a pistol grip. Our ER rooms are overcrowded enough without adding more preventable debilitating arm injuries.

Tennis Elbow!

Yup, tennis elbow. Instantly and permanent.

Seriously though, just shoot it. Won't kill ya or snap your arm off. Did you know some people even fire 500s&w revolvers and their hands don,t fall off?

If you shoot yourself in the hand with a 500 S&W it might fall off lol. Just search youtube for videos of people shooting shotguns with pistol grips, there are plenty of videos that will allow you to judge the potential dangers, and how not to stand lol.

It's not a big deal at all, I was even able to do it back when I was so weak from health issues that I had problems holding the shotgun out one handed.
