Shooting in Yellowknife?

Where can one go to shoot off a bench? Just want to sight in a couple rifles.

Used to be a gun club just outside of town when I was there, had bench set ups. Maybe try asking down at the gun shop (assuming it's still there). - dan

There is a shooting range out by the sand pits, It will do the trick, chances are if you go there you can just climb under the fence, it barely gets used.

The Yellowknife Shooting Club has benchrests at the outdoor range. Members and guests only (insurance). Memberships are available at the Tru-Value Hardware store.

Just climb under the fence....you mean use it without permission or membership? Not all that law abiding...why not just support the range and become a member?

I am a member. You'd be surprised the amount of times I went out there and someone was using it without permission. I figure its better then going off into the bush somewhere there might be a cabin or anything else
