Hey. Is there any reason one shouldn't shoot lead through a Sig Sauer P226? I've seen posts on not to shoot lead in a Glock..... why is that? What about the Sig??

Glock because of the polygonal barrel, though that's debatable. SIGs have land and groove barrels, so there's no issue with lead projectiles.

Glocks can shoot plain lead bullets just fine, too. You just might have to be a bit more diligent about lead fouling.

my SIG 226 has no problems with lead bullets, the crazy thing just keep on shooting every time I pull the trigger, no matter what kind ammo I feed it (lead or FMJ).
