Shooting mat

I just ordered a US peacekeeper. I looked at the centerthegroup mat, and I will likely get one of them too. The reason I got the US peacekeeper; I heard it was good and when I google searched it, the first thing that popped up was instock at amazon.ca for $135 with free shipping, and im a sucker for free shipping.

In the next few months there may be a Canadian made shooting mat coming out........It will be more for the Tactical shooting guys.......lightweight, roll up, easily portable, modular........ ;)

Shut up and take my money!!!!! I have some of your rear bags and love them!

Patience my friend, patience ;).........we have a few production runs to catch up on and then we will start R&D on our mat..........People can PM me here on on our Facebook page with suggestions on what features they would like to see........this won't be a full padded TR or F-Class style mat........this will be a mat that is meant to be field portable and lugged around the woods/fields.........

What company is this, Canadian made I am in.

I would like to see a mat with weighted ends as opposed to the peg loops.

Weighted ends would make it harder to roll up and heavier. Four light weight tent pegs would probably hold the mat corners down better then weights.........I have a mat that has zippered pockets on all four corners for added weights/rocks, etc, but I personally would prefer to use pegs........We are looking at something that can be rolled up and attached to a pack.

Black neoprene sure gets hot in the sun.
If it is raining, the mat will hold a puddle for you to lie in.
Drag bag/mats are all very well, but if they get wet, you really don't want to case your rifle in one until it is really dry.
Never needed pegs or sewn in weights. If it is that windy, I have gear I can anchor it with, until I'm on it.
I use a mat, but lying on the ground isn't all that bad.
As mentioned, the trifold mats can be used as satchels to carry gear.

I bought a Blackhawk Pro-Shooters Mat, I like it a lot. I read in a few forums that you are better off with a lighter coulored mat, black ones can get very hot in the sun so I went with tan.
