Shooting range in Toronto?

I'm not sure how widespread the Millers effect is in Toronto but is there a range where I can rent guns to try out?

No Miller's effect whatsoever. Plenty of guns at the Jane/Finch area.

They don't rent guns, its illegal. They rent stall space.

They dont rent guns, but there are guns there, and you can utilize their facilities under close supervision. But they are awesome, so just go out there and have fun. Just dont go there and ask to rent guns.

It's for how long you want to shoot BUT i think the price of ammo goes up in price when you try out the gun so bring lots of cash

I've been at target sports today. Just for your reference:

- facility is nice

- people are very nice

- call them before you come, there is no need for an appointment, but it goes in a live queue and you can wait quite some time. I've been waited for over an hour. The range itself is not crowded, its just there is one guy who can supervise shooting of one guy at a time.

- I've spent $140 total. Shot 100 rounds 9mm, 50 x .40, 50 x .45.

- I was a little upset with the choice of the range guns. I had to shoot glocks both in 9 and .40 and 1911 in 45. The only other option available was Springfield SD.

Overall - very pleasant experience if you don't mind the cost.

nice loop-hole to make money. What happens when some one F%$# UP at the range the rest of the ranges will pay the price

I always get as smile at the guys' reaction when someone walks in and asks to rent a gun.

Ouch! That's $33 less than my yearly membership at Burlington Rifle & Revolver Club, just West of Toronto off the QEW. See about it when you're ready.

No as I said, they were not available. I've asked several times, they said they had M&P as a range gun but it was not in a condition to be shot. They might had it month ago and it was fine, might fix or get a new one next week, but at the time I was there they had 2 M&P under the glass as a range guns, but was not allowing to shoot them.

I not saying this to make them look bad or anything. Its a nice place. All im trying to say, that I was there and if you go tomorrow M&P might be not available.
