tl;dr - what type of shooting bags do you recommend I get (if any) for my first outlaw rimfire match.

G'day. Signed up for my first outlaw rimfire competition next Saturday (April 22nd) along with a mate from the range. I'll be in open class - CZ-457 LRP with a bipod and Vortex Viper PST 4-24x scope (might be 6x, I don't play with the magnification much...). I'm looking at shooting bags and wondering if anyone can give me some guidance on whether I need one and maybe even recommend some?

Some background:
1. I'm a buy once, cry once type so while I can get sets for $30 on Amazon, I also see Bossgear.ca has what look like top of the line for almost $100 more. I'd prefer to buy something I'll continue to use going forward rather than something I have to throw out after a year or two.
2. I shoot off the bipod at the range, no bags. I'm typically 2 MOA, on a good day I can get it down just below 1.5 (don't ask me about the bad days, please)
3. My scope is zeroed at 50m.

So far, I've looked at Bossgear's web site, Tesro and Amazon. Have seen a couple of other places (one out of Alberta that seems to make their own) too.

Armageddon gear sticky mini game changer or Shmedium heavy fill. Buy both if you can. They compliment each other. There are other options that are as good too. I don’t have the other ones so cant comment on them.

I run a full size sticky GC... pretty much the only bag I run now.

Another great option would be a small bag attached to an ARCA clamp. This helps for stages with many transitions.

the pump pillow is another bag that can come in handy but I use it less and less each season.

trapper gores seem like a neat place

just ordered a 3 bag set out of that place in bc that is a drop ship
they said it was in stock so I ordered a set
we will see if it arrives, not a well known name brand but decently made to get me long as a start
need to see other equipment before taking the expensive plunge

A follow up. This past weekend I was at ORPS event at the Lower Trent Fish and Game Association. Had a chance to try both the OG Gamechanger and a Schmedium (plus a couple of other bags) courtesy of my squad members (Karen, Hei and Russ - thanks!). The more serious/experience competitors were using the small bags and Arca rail setup. I'm leaning to the OG Gamechanger, only because I cleaned the KYL stage using it :). I saw a few BossGear pump pillows too.
Thanks again!

If you are willing to drive a bit I’m hosing a CRPS match this weekend in Eastern Ontario and I’ll have the whole lineup of BOSSGear products available to try. The pump pillows are popular but have others as well.

Great group - I shot awful last weekend, but seeing such a big crowd and new shooters was nice.
I've got a few bags. Since I got my Coletac Tricorn I haven't used my armageddon Railchanger a single time. I do wish I had a Gripchanger for props with smaller openings.
I've also found that "pump pillows" / Cuddle bags are a great help.

If your there on 7/30 lmk and your welcome to try any/all of mine.

Sounds like L__khart Tactical.......lol.

They used to sell the bags that myself and a buddy made.
Then they basically copied them and had them made off shore...........Very greasy to deal with.

Also check out Nomad Custom Gear out of Grande Prairie AB. They make great high quality gear such as shooting bags, ammo wallets, tripod accessories, and other gear.
