Shooting rest or bag?

Been using a Benchmaster for many years. Works well and isn't that heavy.

If you want to be creative, you can make a front rest from an old car scissor jack.

Recently I re finished the stock on my 6.5 with tru oil and the next time I took it shooting my groups had opened up badly. It took me a while to figure out but I use a rest and the new finish was kinda sticking on the leather of the rest and causing issues. The gun has to slide on the rest.
