thanks we shall look into that is there a group like that in new brunswick??

Someone help me out here. I think there is the Royal New Brunswick Rifle Association. However, I don't think they do any service rifle shooting/matches, just LR target rifle IIRC :(

RNBR does run some service rifle matches, but I don't know exactly where/when. I also don't recall where the link to their site is.

Drop me an e-mail and I'll see what I can dig up for you.

I'm in the NSRA, and we do have a very active SR section, lots of shoots through the year, with our own new range too!

Service Rifle New Brunswick

They definitely used to. I used to compete with a bunch of civies when I was in the militia on shoots in Salisbury.

I am looking at doing service rifle again. My gun club is a member of the Royal New Brunswick Rifle association and I asked the club secretary to send me a copy of the schedule for competition when they recieve it.

What is the schedule for shoots in Nova Scotia

There have been service rifle shoots at Springfield range, but turnout has been very low, such as 2 at the last one I heard about. A lot of the problem is getting time to shoot. Many have the guns for it but other commitments. It would be a long drive for you to get to Spingfield, I would think.

about 3 minutes past the Mactequac Dam, take a right at the ESSO, then go another 8 minutes. You will see it on the right.
