Shooting steel through a 80s vintage Browning 12 guage, 3in Citori with fixed chokes

Is it safe to shoot steel through these fixed chokes of the 12 guage, Citori shotguns?

With a full and modified choke set, do the fixed chokes pattern all that well with steel?

I’d recommend not shooting Steel and use something like Bismuth or Kent Impact etc. If you want to shoot non-toxic loads through your Citori.

You will have a problem shooting steel through the full choke.You might get away with it through the modified.

Have the full choke reamed open to I.C by a competent gunsmith and then dont fire any steel shot size bigger then 2 out of it.
