Hunting in the B.C. central interior and here on the west caost, I've found in most cases, there is usually something to lean against or rest on. Not always but quite often. Hunting in a some areas in Alberta, and I'm thinking of a fairly recent Mule Deer hunt south of Edmonton, good natural rests are not always available. Within the next few years I should be eligible for an Antelope hunt and to that end I thought getting and practicing with a set. What I've settled on is made by Stoney Point, and the model is Polecat Explorer telescoping bipod. Takes a bit of getting used to but I'm sure I'll need them in that kind of country.
