I'm glad Mystic is taking the cautious approach to loading and I am too to a degree. I'm not saying that programs to help try to figure out pressures aren't a good thing and benefitial but don't get spyched out over the answers you get from the calculations you punch in. I know there's no such thing as common sense, but using personal sense in reloading and not having destractions while preparing it goes a long ways. Having a clear head and being in the zone, so to speak, can help with your final results. I'm not saying I've got the only load to go with and everything else is below grade. All I'm saying is that this is what works for my guns and I've gone through thousands of rounds already with the same 300pcs of brass and haven't had to discard any due to failure. I"m glad this thread has taken this turn because it's good to see where peoples experience comes from.
I'm curious to know what kind of pressure I'm looking at from my Lapua AI that's burning 111.5gr of US869 with a 300gr bullet. Velocity at the muzzle is 3065 consistently and bullet drop out to 1000yds is 21.5 MOA from Lapua brass and 215M primers
