I have the delivery slip for my SR1911 but it won't be available until tomorrow. I have tried polishing the delivery slip and working the slide, but I just got a paper cut and my wife told me to go sit in the basement until I'm not weird.

This is like a thousand Christmas eves that go on forever!

I don't care what women say, this is way worse than child birth...

Same thing happened to me two weeks ago. I checked the tracking # and it says "out for delivery" I waited all day for that stupid postman. The guy didn't even knock or rang the doorbell. They just left me a slip sayin my package is available next day at 1pm. I called the post office first thing in the morning and it was there already just waiting to be picked up.
Call them up to make sure before goin there. Anyways, congratz on your purchase. :rockOn:

Happens WAYYY to often with CP...with their wages they should stop being lazy and do their job!!!

I was going to call for my STATT, but first I went to pick up a package at the post office that most certainly wasn't the SR1911. Strangely enough, when I opened it at home-- there was the gun! Oh well, my bad...
 
Congrats on the sr, bought one a few weeks ago and made the mistake of letting the wife fire it. Now it resides on her side of the safe.
Got her back tho, my colt python should arrive any day now.
 
In comment to canada post - they do the same to me - they don't bring the package my my house ever. They always drop a slip off saying they tried - I've watched the post man simply pull up, and put the slip in the mail and dive away. I should get a discount in shipping ;)
