I'm leaning to that CZ as well. I haven't been able to find one in 40 yet. My LGS has one CZ sp 01 in 9mm left. I might break down and grab it

Seems like 40 cal pistols are hard to come by. Lots of 9mm around. Walther P99as was on the wish list but none of those left in canada either apparently.

SAM 1911 in 40 S&W is on sale at Wolverine for $450. I'm tossing around the idea of ordering one just for the sake of getting a deal.

I bought the Sam 1911 in 40 when it was $399 then a week later they cranked up the price to $450, still a steal at that price, just swapped out the crappy grips and its good to go

Can't beat the S&W M&P Range & Carry Kit. Best deal out there. The other one I would consider would be the Glock G23 Gen 4.

The SAM is a great deal, but make sure you buy some good mags with it. The cheapos I bought from Wolverine caused lots of feed problems.

Forties I like:

Glock 22 & Glock 23
BHP MKIII
Colt Delta fitted with a .40 S&W barrel

I own all of the above & they all 'fit' me well.

Haven't owned one but the CZ75B in .40 S&W is also one I'd consider if the deal was 'right'.

Marstar has a NP-40 a CZ clone under the Norinco pistol banner. I believe for 359.00. I owned one before and it was a great pistol. Sold it for $500.00 and a 40 ozer of Captain Morgan dark. I would have another.

Liked my HK USP 40 better than my Sig 226 in 40, which I also liked. My HK is on the "do not sell list". However, if I could find a SS Sig 226 Elite in .40, I'd buy one.

If you ask the community, you may get 20 different answers. I'm in love with my USP. They are pricey, but worth it if you have big hands and like a large quality polymer pistol.

I have to agree. It's personal. Go fondle lots of models. The m&p and 1911 fit me better and i have shorter fingers.

Even though that's a gorgeous and rare piece, I think he better drop his price when he hears about the shipment of NIB P7M8's & 13's coming in for about 40% of what he's asking...
