How about you guys do a little research before spouting off a bunch of crap.

You can cut a pump action barrel down to 18", as long as the overall length remains greater than 26".

If your willing to have the gun permantly modfied you can make it a 6.5 inch barrel shot gun. It requires the magazine tube to be shortened and a custom forend installed.

If you can find a 6.5inch factory barrel.

Calm down? He corrected you because you gave wrong information. Check out the BL-6. Dlask could whip up some more of their shorties too for a price I'm sure.

Cutting your shotgun barrel after it leaves the factory will make the shotgun prohibited and you will go to jail.

I thought I was fairly calm, as calm as you were in your own post at least. You throw this out there like it's fact, when it was actually a load of BS. I then gave accurate info. How should I have handled that differently?

Would you have preferred that I mention the possibillity that you could be mistaken? That it may be possible to cut a barrel without going to jail?
