Short AR Barrel

Does anyone have experience with the S&J AR15 Barrels that are available through CGN sponsors?

I am looking for a 10.5"-11.5" barrel for my Bushmaster. I don't want to spend $400+ on a barrel, however are these S&J barrels good (enough) quality?

Other than the specs available online, does anyone have first hand experience with these? Longevity, accuracy???

Really good stuff for the money. I finished up a build with a 14.5 a few weeks ago. Went together like it should and shoots well.

I have the 11.5" on my current build fit and finish is top notch, as for shooting...im still waiting on my other parts to arrive

I have the 11.5" and there have been no issues.

It groups around 1.5" at 100 yards when benched, which is more than good enough for an SBR.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I imagine these are not chrome lined, as it is not in the specs outlined online? Not a huge issue I suppose.

From what I've found online, the treatment they use is better then Chrome.

However, what I want to know, is do they clean easy, and collect any copper.

That's a good question, I have one of their 18" barrels and haven't shot it yet...

I haven't seen one listed longer then 16.5 as of yet.

oops, my bad... it's an NEA barrel... not an S&J... mid-length tho

Looks like I'm going with the 11.5" S&J Barrel from OneShot. Simon responded with some detail about the finish and bore etc. Looks like it will do the job nicely.

Thanks for the feedback, once it's up and running I will post some pics and range report.

That seems be to turning into a pet peeve of mine, no maintnence report, hah.
