what is the Legal minimum you can cut a barrel to?
I thought it was 18.5".

I too like 'em short!

i think its 18 , but just for breathing room 18.5 is usually what people cut to.

457mm (17.99") is the legal minimum for cutting. 470mm (18.50") is the limit to keep a centerfire semi-auto non-restricted.

Look at the definitions of "restricted firearm" and "prohibited firearm" at the beginning of Part III of the Criminal Code, Section 84.
